It is important to maintain a valid e-mail address for your subscription and we reserve the right to suspend any subscription without a valid and deliverable e-mail address.
E-mail is the only way we have to contact you and, for your protection, we send you a confirmation every time there is activity on your account. To preserve our ability to communicate with you, our software recognizes when our support or administrative e-mails have been returned as undeliverable and will temporarily suspend your account until the problem has been resolved.
This policy applies to support and administrative e-mail only. All other e-mail sent to you by our approved partners or by us is controlled by your e-mail preferences established when you subscribed. You may edit those preferences using the "subscriber information" option at MyAccount. Preview MyAccount
Resolving E-mail Problems
If you do not receive your confirmation or have made account changes without receiving a confirmation of the changes, please use MyAccount to try to identify and remedy the problem. Log in with your current user name e-mail address and select the "username/password" option to make corrections. Updating your e-mail address will automatically reactive your account if it was suspended because of a bad e-mail address.
If you are unable to log in to MyAccount, please contact customer support and provide your full name for prompt assistance.
A common problem we experience concerning undeliverable e-mail involves anti-SPAM software such as AOL Mail Controls. To receive your important e-mail about your Merriam-Webster Unabridged account, please make sure to authorize e-mail from support@member.m-w.com
